A Roundup of New Canaan's Top News this Week

In case you missed something, New Canaan Patch wants to help you play catch up!

Here's a look at some of the top stories from New Canaan this week:

It was a somewhat short week (Fourth of July excitement abounded!) In July 4 news, we cautioned you to be safe and know the rules (applicable info, really, anytime you're thinking about buying fireworks), and if you got a great shot of the show, share it here on Patch

In Police news, Patch got to sit down and chat with New Canaan's newest police chief Leon Krolikowski, a car stuck a building downtown Wednesday and $30,000 in valuables were reportedly stolen from a Silver Mine Road home.

In Business news, we dropped in to talk with Island Outfitters about their brand expansions now that Vineyard Vines is in town. In Political news, we found out the Republican Candidate Forum is all set for July 11
