Community Encouraged to Continue King's Legacy

A full house celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday at the New Canaan United Methodist Church Monday with the civil rights activist's words and songs of the movement led by the Serendipity Chorale.

New Canaan High School senior and ABC House student Darryl Cummings offered the testimony at the service, saying his life was proof that King's dream is still alive, but that the lives of many of his peers back in the Brooklyn ghetto are evidence there is still much work to be done.
