Can Connecticut Republicans be competitive this presidential election season?
As reported by the Hartford Courrant, State GOP Chairman Jerry Labriola has gone on the record to say the future of the "blue" state is looking positively "red." But local Democrats say he must be dreaming.
Delegates representing Connecticut at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte this week share their thoughts with Patch.
I'm not going to vote for most of them, especially the top, because I can't afford it but unlike most of the pols I see on TV who think that their side is 100% right and the other side is 100% wrong, I give the Dems credit for what they did. Romney may show some things in the next few weeks and maybe not. I think I know where he's going. I have no idea where Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi are headed. A bill with thousands of pages that nobody understands and which will reduce the numbers of doctors accepting Medicare is a disaster. I just can't afford this "change."
www.2016themovie.com/theaters/ (over 20 theaters in CT) You will also understand why most of what he said last night is the exact opposite of what Obama believes--that he believes in "the collective" rather than rugged American individualism! Did you notice that he actually said the words "Providence" and "Endowed by our Creator," which latter he has heretofore refused to utter when citing the "Declaration of Independence"? That was part of his massive deceit again last night, as O really believes in "One nation under Obama," with UNLIMITED power for him!!! As in unrestrained by anything in the U.S. Constitution, by Congress, or by "We the People." Obama's "massive deceit" was to get elected, as a totally unprepared "community organizer" who well-intentioned (but uninformed) voters put all their "hopes" on to be the "change" he promised in his oratory in 2008. Those "hopes" have been completely dashed by an unqualified masked man. Americans are waking up, and are going to vote in "America's Comeback Team" of Romney/Ryan!!!
