The 12th annual luncheon for the Fairfield County Community Foundation’s Fund for Women and Girls raised more than $510,000 to benefit girls and women in Fairfield County April 7 at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich. Since its establishment in 1998 the "Fund" has "awarded $1.9 million in grants to nonprofits throughout Fairfield County that help girls and women overcome obstacles and fulfill their potential."
4. Tea for two or three? Join National Book Award Winner Jeanne Birdsall for a Parent Child Tea Party. The Author of The Penderwicks series and her first picture book Flora's Very Windy Day will be at the , Saturday, June 18 at 1:30 p.m.
