  1. Does Dad love to read? Then the Friends of John Randolph Book Sale is where you can find the perfect gift. It begins today and will run until Tuesday, June 21 with over 20,000 books for sale and a Silent Auction of rare and premium books for all you aficionados.
  2. There is an tonight at The Town Hall at 7 p.m. The two candidates for First Selectman, Paul Giusti and Rob Mallozzi, will debate followed by John Engel and Nick Williams, the two candidates for Selectman.
  3. “Dora The Explorer” will be at the this Saturday, June 18 to help kick off the awesome “Dinosaur Summer” exhibit of robotic larger than life dinosaurs.
  4. Get out your harmonicas because the Blues Traveler will be in concert at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Thursday, June 23 at 8 p.m. "Their best-known song - “Run-Around” - was the longest charting radio single in Billboard history."
  5. How about a shiny new car for Father's Day? Well maybe just a shiny car. will host a Car Wash Fundraiser Sunday, June 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Saxe Middle School. Proceeds will benefit their upcoming missions trips as middle schoolers get ready to head to Chicago in June, and high schoolers prepare to go to Mexico in August.
