Flash Flood Watch in Effect (Video)

New Canaan could get another 1.5 inches of rain Monday.

A flash flood watch remains in effect for Fairfield County through Monday evening as a slow-moving storm pushes through the area.

The system "will continue to usher an abundant amount of moisture into the Tri-State region," the National Weather Service reports.

"This moisture is being acted on by the storm, creating the potential for localized flash flooding across most of the Tri-State into this evening," the service warns.
