About six inches of snow falls in New Canaan

Sixteen days ago forecasters were warning of a "blizzard", and for a while it did fall fast and furious, but New Canaan only got about four inches of snow.

This time, it rained and rained, and the weathermen weren't sure if snow would ever stick. But when it finally turned over to the white stuff it came slow and steady. As of mid-day Friday about six inches were on the ground and counting, and much of town was again in snow-day mode.
