The Springdale Post Office located at 24 Camp Ave. in Stamford provides mail delivery service to more than 30,000 residents and businesses in Stamford and New Canaan.
The facility lost power on Monday evening but letters carriers, clerks, mail handlers, managers and maintenance employees have been working virtual darkness to ensure customers receive mail and packages.
