New Canaan Food Pantry Seeks Donations

Always ready for financial support through checks, the pantry right now is running low on non-perishables that include nuts, tuna and dried fruit.

The food pantry at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on Oenoke Ridge is seeking donations, according to a post in the New Canaan Advertiser.

Non-perishables such as juice boxes, peanut butter, pasta sauce, nuts and crackers are in demand at the pantry, as are checks, the Advertiser reports.

Attracting record numbers of individuals and families in need in recent years, the pantry is supported by private residents, nonprofits and community organizations of all kinds in New Canaan.

The town website says the New Canaan Human Services Department at 203-594-3076 can provide drop off information by those seeking to donate.
