The Board of Selectmen on Tuesday set next year’s annual parking permit fees as follows:

The figures represent about half of the approximately 9 percent rise that the Parking Commission had forwarded to the selectmen for review and approval.
With property taxes set to rise and other commuter fees variable, such as Metro-North Railroad ticket costs, Mallozzi said he couldn’t support the proposed steeper increase.
“I have a problem with rates going up this dramatically,” Mallozzi said.
