Sarah Manelly fed Caroline Murray on wing who sent a cross to Aly DiRocco who buried it for a 1-0 lead thirteen minutes into the game. Later in the first half, Jana Persky scored unassisted on a ball sent in over the defense intended for Murray. The ball took a bounce and rolled into the net for a 2-0 lead. There was no scoring in the second half. Saves: Holly Burwick had 12 saves for the Rams. Trumbull goalie Jenna Rouso had 6.
Play-of-the-game: Midway second half, Trumbull's Selma Anastasia, a U14 National Team pool player, got a breakaway. Rams goalie Burwick charged off her line to take the ball before Anastasia got off the shot.
