The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for all of Fairfield County until noon Monday. Between 4-6 inches of snow is forecast to hit southern Fairfield county before tapering off in the early afternoon. Be prepared for hazardous driving conditions and limited visibility.
There is a slight chance of more snow after midnight tonight.
The MTA is operating on a Saturday schedule for President's Day. According to its website, the MTA is keeping a close watch on the forecasts and field reports throughout the region, and asks customers to monitor the news media and check with mta.info before traveling today.
