With a break in the weather --- well, it did rise above 40 degrees this week! --- it’s time to put your best foot forward. 

February break is just around the corner, not to mention spring, so if your feet haven’t been out of boots since November, it’s time to consider treating yourself to a pedicure before sandal season. 

New Canaan is filled with an embarrassment of salons and spas, but if you want a unique treat head to Hairquarters West on Pine Street. Through the end of February they are offering their “Strawberry Bubbly Pedicure,” which includes champagne and chocolate truffles. The cost is $45, which, with an Icard, includes a manicure. 

Looking for something more exotic? 

Include a spouse or friends and venture to in Westport. One customer online rated it “by far, the best manicure and pedicure you can get in Fairfield County.”  Posh is just down the road from the Royale 6 movie theater. Pedicure and a movie?

Spring colors are soft and sheer.  We like the look of Naked by Deborah Lippmann or  Topless & Barefoot by Essie.
