Town Council Approves Bonding For Roof Repairs

As per a report in the New Canaan News, Town Councilman Paul Foley cast the lone dissenting vote against the resolution, saying he was not opposed to the projects, but is opposed to borrowing to fund them.

The roofs will reportedly be replaced with synthetic slate, which lasts significantly longer than asphalt.
Bids will go out in the spring and the Town hopes to have the work completed by October 2012.
