The Democratic and Republican registrars are located on the 2nd floor of 237 Elm Street, as is the Town Clerk's Office.
According to Connecticut Secretary of the State Denise W. Merrill, this is the first year residents in the state will be able to participate in the day-of election process:
"Connecticut now offers Election Day Registration. If you miss the deadline for registering for an election, you can register and vote in person on Election Day at your town’s Election Day Registration location. Contact your local registrars of voters for information about location, hours of operation, and ID requirements," according to Merrill's website.
To vote on Nov. 5, residents would need to arrive at the registrars office to cast their ballot. Tuesday's in-person registration will be the final opportunity for voters to register prior to the in-person voting on Nov. 5.
Absentee ballots can also be cast at the Town Clerk's Office, located in the same building as the Registrars Office during normal business days through election day.
