of a six-part series on European Art.
On Monday, September 30th, the series begins with a look at Neoclassicism. This lecture covers Vien, Mengs, Kauffman, David and Ingres.
The series continues on Monday, October 28th with Romanticism: From Rational to Emotional as ArtScapades looks at the subsequent move away from reason and towards emotion. Included in the lecture on Romanticism are works by Goya, Friedrich, Constable, Turner and Delacroix.
