The Osteopathic Wellness center in Ridgefield is offering a free lecture on Wednesday, November 14 from 5:00-6:00 pm featuring Dr. Charlotte Tomaino, author of AWAKENING THE BRAIN: THE NEUROPSYCHOLOGY OF GRACE. Dr. Tomaino is a Clinical Neuropsychologist whose career has been dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of brain function. Her teaching interests, coming from her clinical observations and experience for 30 years, have been focused on the power of the human spirit to overcome the seemingly impossible through the effect of choice, grace, and knowledge about how the brain expands in its amazing abilities. Dr. Tomaino is a full time, licensed clinician with a private practice in White Plains, New York.

Dr. Tomaino has journeyed with people who are experiencing change in brain function due to aging while embracing the power of their wisdom years, young people who are enhancing their skills to meet their life challenges and people who have suffered trauma to the brain who are recovering and expanding their cognitive skills to form a new life which fits them now. Her message of the power of the brain’s neuroplasticity comes from witnessing firsthand the transformational phases of people’s lives when intention, knowledge and grace are combined.

AWAKENING THE BRAIN teaches readers to access the brain’s full potential and its awe-inspiring ability to change in order to gain greater control over mental and physical health and enhancing wellness.

Where DIDN'T you learn to write?? Jane Himmel May 22, 2013 at 01:27 pm "This has CONVINCED MYRead More GROWING CONVICTION that Patch has moved complete..."

I just called Staples. This is really disturbing to me. If I don't get a satisfactory answer, IRead More will let people know and I will also decide whether to continue shopping there. I do not like to give my money to unethical businesses.

This has convinced my growing conviction that Patch has moved completely away from any pretense ofRead More being a news source and is simply an electronic bulletin board. By abandoning their prior procedure of approving posts before they go up, they are letting anything go on and then taking them down if they're reported. By then, it's too late: the poster has gotten their message across during the time it's in the lineup. I only check in with Patch occasionally now and so many people in town won't read it at all anymore. I think we need to be honest with ourselves about what kind of a public forum this venue is. This doesn't reflect well on Staples if they are using subterfuge and violating Terms of Use on Patch either.
