For many Americans, pizza is the food of choice on a Friday night dinner.  On October 19, diners at Coalhouse Pizza in Stamford will be able to indulge in one of their favorite foods while helping children and families in need.

From 5-11 p.m., Coalhouse Pizza – located at 85 High Ridge Road in Stamford – will donate 10 percent from every check to Family Centers as part of the 2nd Annual “Giveback Night.”  The event, which is organized by Family Centers’ Associate Board, is intended to raise both funds and awareness for Family Centers.

In addition to enjoying Coalhouse Pizza’s famous coal-fired pizzas, sandwiches, BBQ and diverse craft beer selection, guests will be treated to an acoustic set by Fairfield County band Finster.  Great door prizes, including tickets to the Nov. 4 Little Feat/Leon Russell concert at the Capital Theatre, will be given away.  A 50/50 drawing will also be held.  For more information, visit Family Centers’ Facebook page at www.facebook.com/familycentersinc
