It's a Small World After All Open House (to support Asian land mine artisans and the Nabale Magnet School in Kenya)

Looking for interesting Christmas gifts, while at the same time support philanthropic projects to benefit artisans in Asia and Africa?  Then look no further.  The public is invited to an Open House entitled, "It's a Small World After All," scheduled for Thursday, December 6th, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Woodbury North Congregational Church Parlor.  Light refreshments will be served.

Available for purchase at the Open House include: hand woven silk scarves designed by renowned textile designer and Woodbury native, Carol Cassidy.  Purchases of the Carol Cassidy scarves will help support artisans in Laos and Cambodia, some of whom are land mine victims.

Also available will be jewelry, wildlife carvings and colorful scarves to support the Nabale Magnet School in Western Kenya.  The Kenyan Nabale Magnet School educates and houses elementary age orphans.
