There is still time to help your
middle school student finish the academic year strong!
Beginning on April 24, 2014, The
Outback Teen Center and Successful Study Skills 4 Students (S4)
are once again offering S4’s popular study-skills workshop for area
middle students. The research-based workshops foster academic achievement by
teaching students key study strategies that help them learn.
The workshop is open to all area
students who are enrolled in grades 5 through 8.

Classes will be held on five
Thursdays, April. 24, May 1, 8, 15, and 22 at the Outback Teen Center, 71 Main Street in New Canaan, CT 06840. The middle school
workshop runs from 5:00 to 6:30 pm.

allows for more focused and individualized attention to be given to each
participating student.

The S4 program is founded on
educational research and evidence-based studies. Its interactive approach
demonstrates how to apply students’ own curriculum to the study strategies they
learn. S4’s workshops are continually refreshed and updated to stay
relevant to students’ academic experiences.
