"Music in Nature" Concert: Music on the Hill Chamber Chorus

The Music on the Hill Chamber Chorus will perform "Music in Nature," featuring Aaron Copland's In the Beginning and Paul Hindemith's Six Chansons, with Artistic Director David H. Connell, conductor,  Admission:  $20 at the door or reserve seating in advance at tickets@musiconthehillct.org.

The Chamber Chorus is a professional 16-voice ensemble that has sung a capella works by Walton, Glass, and Klatzow, among others, in spring and fall concerts starting in 2012.  It made its notable debut at the Music on the Hill inaugural concert in May of that year with Brahms's Liebeslieder Waltzes (Love Song Waltzes) with piano four-hands.

The "Music in Nature" concert takes advantage of the striking architecture of the Victor Lundy-designed Unitarian Church, with glass walls opening onto a woodland setting.
