When Should I Be Concerned? Is This Normal Aging or Dementia?

Maplewood at Darien invites you to attend a discussion on "When Should I Be Concerned? Is this normal aging or dementia?" on Wednesday, December 4th at 1:00 PM with guest speaker Dr. Evan Drake.

Attend this one hour session and learn about the difference between cognitive changes associated with normal aging, mild cognitive impairment, and dementia. The role of diagnosis testing will be reviewed as well as the various causes of dementia. The seminar will be followed by a Question and Answer period.

Dr. Drake has a private neuropsychology practice in Darien focusing on adult and geriatric patients. Prior to this, he was the Assistant Professor of Clinical Neuropsychology in the Epilepsy Division of the Department of Neurology in the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University for nine years. Dr. Drake earned his Ph.D. from Fuller Theological Seminary and trained in neuropsychology at Rush - Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago and Weill Medical College in New York.
