39th Annual New Canaan Easter Egg Hunt

The Young Women’s League of New Canaan will hold the 39th Annual New Canaan Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 24th, 2012 at Waveny Park at 10:00am. The event is free and open to the public thanks to the collaboration and support of local organizations and businesses.

 The Easter Egg Hunt is a much-loved town event that provides fun festivities for children and adults of all ages!  10,000 eggs are stuffed by volunteers from the Women’s League and “hidden” at Waveny field, much to the delight of children!   Local youngsters have come to love the bounce houses, face painting and sack races.  The whole family will enjoy homemade treats (over 1,000 items available), music provided by The Masqueraders and photos with the Easter Bunny, provided this year by Venture Photography.

100% of the proceeds from the event will go to the YWL Giving Fund.  The YWL, founded in 1973, is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to community service.
