The New Canaan Recreation Department and the Young Women's League of New Canaan made a special request to the North Pole and Santa will be making a special appearance for kids at Waveny House on Saturday, Dec. 12.
Open to New Canaan residents ages 1-10, (a parent must be present) children will enjoy breakfast treats of apple juice and donuts before meeting with Santa. In addition, all children will have a picture taken with Santa and go home with a fun filled goodie bag. A free coffee and tea bar will be available for attending parents.
The price of admission is a donation of a new unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots or $10 cash.

Separate group seating, open to New Canaan residents only, will be available at 8:00 or 10:00 a.m. and space is strictly limited to 60 children per seating.
Due to the popularity of the event, only children by Dec. 10 by telephone or in person at the Recreation Department will be admitted to the event.
