Breast Cancer Awareness month

Paint the Town Pink with pink ribbons and t-shirts that are available at Baskin Robbins, thanks to owner Anna Valente-Krolikowski, and Cherry Street Salon. Salon owner Toni Esposito is planning a fun event on Thursday, October 14 at 5 pm the Cherry Street Salon is hosting a 'Paint the Town Pink' charity happening with an admission donation of $25. per person that will include wine, food, music, relaxation treatments and a goody bag. All proceeds will go to the Stamford Hospital Mobile Mammography Coach. To RSVP for the salon event to 203-966-2433, located at 123 Cherry Street.
 
"Art for Awareness", Tuesday, October 19 at Gates Restaurant Bar on Forest Street from 6 to 9 pm Cocktail Party and Silent Art Auction to raise awareness for the Stamford Hospital Mobile Mammography Coach. It is planned as a fun night to 'Celebrate Women'. Space is limited and reservations for "Art for Awareness" can be made by emailing to ArtStamps@aol.com. The tickets are $40 in advance, and $50. at the door. As an artist herself, Ms, Sheehy, a breast cancer survivor, is planning to have several special art treasures in different media and artists for the silent auction.
