Center for HOPE Spring Luncheon with Lee Woodruff

Best-selling author Lee Woodruff knows all about the unexpected twists and turns one encounters along the road of life.   Without a moment’s notice, her life was turned upside down when her husband, former ABC World News Tonight anchor Bob Woodruff, was seriously injured by a roadside bomb during a broadcast in Iraq.

Woodruff will discuss how she found the strength to hold her family together at the 2011 Center for HOPE Annual Luncheon.  The event will be held on Monday, June 6 at 11 a.m. at the Country Club of Darien.

Woodruff documented her family’s amazing journey in the New York Times bestseller In an Instant: A Family’s Journey of Love and Healing, a memoir she co-wrote with Bob.   In 2009, Woodruff released her second book entitled, Perfectly Imperfect
