Easter Blooms at Grace Community Church

On Easter Sunday, April 4, Grace Community Church will celebrate in a variety of ways for adults and children, while holding a special focus on the meaning of the Resurrection.

The Sunday service will begin at 9:30am at Saxe Middle School with a sermon by Pastor Cliffe Knechtle entitled "Radical Redemption." At the same time, children preschool-age to sixth grade will participate in their own special Easter service in the gymnasium with music, crafts, games and a skit.

Children's Director Julia Hughes explains, "We're really looking forward to our first Children's Easter Service, and as eggs are a symbol of the new life we're celebrating, we'll end our morning of worship & fun with a 1,000-egg hunt!"

After the service, all are invited to a coffee cake social held in the lobby, sharing Easter morning breakfast traditions of pastries, muffins and other bite-sized breakfast items, while kids participate in the egg hunt around the island in front of Saxe. Bring your baskets and your cameras!

Nursery care will be provided for children ages newborn to 3 years old. For more information about Grace Community Church, visit here.
