Please join VOICES of September 11th on Thursday, August 23rd at 6:00 p.m. in the Lamb Room of the New Canaan Library for our 2012 Community Response Presentation. This presentation will exhibit the research of four summer interns: Annie Fox, Madeline Diamond, Jessica Karl, and Elizabeth Kilbride. Annie and Jessica, two rising seniors at New Canaan High School, will present their research on the responses of Fairfield County residents after the attacks on 9/11. They will discuss in particular their findings in the religious and emergency response fields, with interviewees including local Jewish and Christian leaders, as well as first responders who answered the calls for assistance in Lower Manhattan. The public is invited to attend, free of charge, and refreshments will be served.
