Stock Up for our Scholars! On Thursday, March 24th, New Canaan Wine Merchants is hosting a shopping benefit from 5 to 8 p.m., including an informal wine tasting from 6 to 8 p.m., with 10% of all store purchases donated to the New Canaan High School Scholarship Foundation.
Phone orders can be placed any time of the day on March 24th, although callers must mention the New Canaan High School Scholarship Foundation to participate in this event.
The NCHS Scholarship Foundation is a 44-year-old, broad-based community effort to provide financial aid for New Canaan High School graduates pursuing higher education. April 3rd is the foundation's annual fundraising drive - "Scholarship Sunday" - when students wearing "NCHS Scholarship Drive" tee shirts will be canvasing New Canaan residents to garner support for scholarships.
