I do not wear shorts. You may have heard me say this before. I just have never liked the way I look in them. As a kid, I hated my knees, and I have always been so pale (although, I am starting to embrace the pale). I wear workout shorts of course when I am running or exercising. But if you ask my trainer, you will find I wear shorts way less than I do a yoga/legging pant.
In Summer, I lean towards skirts, dresses and even pants over shorts. I see them on other people and love them. They are so cute, just not on me. Until now. At Last, I have found a pair of shorts I love. I even stumbled on them accidentally. Which if you read my old blog post on , you will remember I said that sometimes you find the best things when you not even looking!
I went in Rugby today in New Canaan – I love the Shops in our Village – looking to duplicate a pair of pants I got there and instead found these shorts. They actually fit me. They sit at the perfect spot on my hips. They have great pockets on the front and rear. They are not too short and not too long. The weight of them is great and so were the colors. When I was copying the link to the online site for them, I found out they even come in a third color! I will now have to get those too.
I now wear shorts. At least these shorts. I am ready for Summer.
