I believe this is an amazing time to buy a home in New Canaan CT. Home values have dropped significantly in the last 5 years but we all have known for a while that eventually the real estate market would bounce back strong... Well, we are almost there. Improved numbers in New Canaan over the last few years lead me to believe that the spring market in 2014 is going to be swimming with new buyers. The shortage of homes will surely mean that home prices are bound to go back up which I have already see happen with multiple homes closing for well over the asking price.

After Thanksgiving dinner when many are watching football on their couches, you will find that many buyers and sellers that are new to the market are multi tasking on their iPads, Android tablets or laptops searching their favorite real estate websites. Rates continue to stay level during the holidays, homebuyers will be making good value purchases between now and the spring market and inventory is at a low right now.
