New Canaan U13 Girls Red advances to CT Cup quarterfinals; remains undefeated in league division

Coach Barry Beattie and his New Canaan U13 Girls Red soccer team met the Simsbury Sonics in an exciting CT Cup game on Saturday at Conner Field. New Canaan defeated the Sonics 1-0 in overtime – this was their third consecutive shutout in the CT Cup playoffs. The team now advances to the quarterfinals of the CT Cup where they will play against Suffield.

The next day, the U13 Girls Red team took the pitch in Danbury, defeating Danbury 3-1. The team remains undefeated in their league games as they head into the second half of the season.
