Last week Emily Restifo, a colleague of mine, stopped by to see me at a Broker's Open House that I was hosting for one of my listings. We started chatting about the 'state of the market' here in New Canaan, and in our discussion she advised me of an upcoming symposium regarding that very issue ... does it make sense to buy? ... is it time to sell? ... presented by the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce and Moffly Media. A short synopsis, with pertinent details, follows ...

"TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY, TO SELL OR NOT TO SELL? ... That is the Question."

With changing market conditions, impacted by everything from shifting demographics to politics to the economy, with what the effect will be on one of their primary assets.

Just a few of the questions circling the current real estate market ... What's going on in the town of New Canaan, and how will it affect the value of my asset? What should I take into account in making an informed decision? How is the mortgage market affecting both buyers and sellers? What are the attorneys seeing in contracts - what is reasonable and what is not?

Presented as a public service by the and Moffly Media, a will address the current state of the market and what it means for buyers and sellers today.
