Recently I heard from a friend who as a child had been in Paul Giusti’s elementary school class, that on Picture Day, Paul had worn his Cub Scout uniform. I was not surprised. This image of Paul as a child is completely consistent with the man I have known for the past eight years; someone who is respectful — whether it is of a uniform, an organization, a friendship or his town.
Paul brings his respectful countenance to the First Selectman campaign, along with business acumen more recently exhibited in his career as an entrepreneurial business executive. His passion for New Canaan has already been demonstrated in his work on both the Board of Finance and the Board of Selectman. Paul is a man whose collaborative efforts get things done, even in these current economic times. I would be proud to have Paul Giusti represent New Canaan as First Selectman.
