NCCF Support A Family Tradition

New Canaan Community Foundation board member urges support of the organization.

To the Editor,

I love the holiday season.  As part of our family tradition, we affirm our commitment to this Town and to the unique spirit of New Canaan with a gift to the .  This donation is a visible sign of our pride in our community.  New Canaan residents care for our neighbors, give every opportunity to our youth and compassionate care to our seniors, and come together to solve challenges and meet demands.  

Please, share your pride in our Town.  Join the family of donors to the New Canaan Community Foundation and make a year-end gift online at www.newcanaancf.org.  Thank you!

By abandoning their prior procedure of approving posts before they go up, they are letting anything go on and then taking them down if they're reported. By then, it's too late: the poster has gotten their message across during the time it's in the lineup. I only check in with Patch occasionally now and so many people in town won't read it at all anymore. I think we need to be honest with ourselves about what kind of a public forum this venue is. This doesn't reflect well on Staples if they are using subterfuge and violating Terms of Use on Patch either.
