Uncivil behavior by NCRTC candidates

It has been tradition over many years that candidates would rent "Station Coffee" and purchase coffee for electors and meet and greet them. To the dismay of the New Canaan Republican Town Committee and their "Slate of Candidates" I rented Station Coffee this morning at a cost of $300 to meet and greet New Canaan's Electors and purchase their coffee. They were angry as they wanted this venue. Their response Chicago style politics. As you can see in the attached photograph the Republican Town Council  "Slate" of candidates spearheaded by Patrick Moynihan and Penny Young ambushed my, to be quiet $300, meet and greet by showing up with a posse of RTC members, inclusive of candidate John Engel (note Bill Wilbert wanted no part of this and was not present). Thank you Bill. Kevin Moynihan shown in the attached picture manned the front exit and entrance to the coffee house and Penny Young stood in the back parking lot entrance handing out flyers and placing their lawn signs. I asked them politely to at least move down the platform. They did not respond and became increasingly rude and adamant.  Kevin Moynihan and Mrs Young then kept removing my signs claiming I was blocking their signs. Of course their behavior being uncivil and antagonistic in tone. It is evident the candidates and their posse where trying to upset me. I did not take the bait. They continually removed my property and threw the lawn signs down.  I needed to call NCPD. Officer Roy Adams needed to show up and tell them not to remove my private property. This was the most disgusting example of childish uncivil behavior. Do these candidates and the NCRTC believe that they are the heir-apparent(s) and no-one dare tread on their turf. They claim they are the caucus endorsed candidates. You mean that one hour of voting held on one night on a 100 degree night where electors needed to wait, wait, wait and left without voting. Only 700 electors cast their ballots out of 12,500 or 5.6%. Ms Young and Mr. Engel rec'd approximately 2.88% of the vote of total electors and Mr Moynihan 3.44%. Absolutely not a mandate nor an approved "Slate of Candidates" Is this "Chicago-Style" politics what our electors want or need? Me-thinks not! You need someone to look out for your tax dollars and welfare, to act as your checks and balances and be your voice, not the voice of a Committee that will act in the most uncivil way to retain power. That behavior is not what the "Next Station to Heaven" defines. If you question the story, the picture attached speaks a thousand words and the activity was recorded by the security cameras at the station. I am appalled at this antagonistic bullying behavior. It is not their first time. Mrs. Young's last uncivil bullying attack was on my then 13 year old daughter at the NCRTC candidate election in the auditorium at Saxe Middle School. She still has not had the decency to apologize. Please vote "Roy for a Voice"
