Waveny Tree Hazard

The New Canaan Patch has a beautiful photo of Waveny House on it's web site including a giant tree to the left of the terrace. Obviously it is an old photo since the tree now has several large branches that are dead and pose a safety hazard, especially during weekly concerts when people sit and children play under the branches while listening to live music. Those large dead branches should be cut down ASAP ,or a sign placed near the tree to warn people. A strong wind gust can easily cause an avoidable Town tragedy. Apparently at least a third of the tree is dead and saving the tree doubtful, but in any case warrants an immediate inspection by Town officials. It seems Town officials only attend the concerts prior to Town elections.
