Anger Over Parking Job in New Canaan Leads to Vandalized Windshield Wipers

Someone who didn't like the way a man had parked in the lot for a New Canaan doctor's officer decided to take it out on the victim's car, police said Monday.

According to Sgt. Carol Ogrinc, the 25-year-old Bridgeport man parked in a parking space in a lot off Pine Street at approximately 11 a.m. - in a space designated by a sign as being exclusively for doctor's office employees.

Ogrinc said the victim, who is indeed an employee of the doctor's office in question, returned to his car at approximately 1 p.m. to find someone had intentionally bent and twisted the right wiper blade on the vehicle. Also left was a note reading "You are parked illegally."

The wiper for the Subaru was valued at approximately $30.
