Another iPhone Stolen from a New Canaan School

It's certainly not the first time it's happened. Maybe kids should consider leaving their technological devices worth hundreds of dollars at home during school hours?

New Canaan police are investigating another missing iPhone that appears to have been stolen during a basketball game at the high school, not a new problem for the school system in town.

A 47-year-old Holly Road man reported the theft at police headquarters following his 14-year-old son's basketball game on the afternoon of January 10, Sgt. Peter Condos said.

According to Condos, the teen placed his phone in his backpack and put the bag in an unsecured locker in the boys locker room at 4 p.m. for the duration of the game against Harding. At 5:30 p.m., when the teen returned to the locker, he found the phone missing from the bag.

The approximate value of the phone was $150.
