Cops: Stamford Man Fails to Drive Right in New Canaan, Charged Accordingly

A man involved in a car accident in New Canaan last week was charged in relation to the incident, police said this week.

According to Sgt. Peter Condos, 18-year-old Christopher Socci, of Woodbrook Drive in Stamford, was operating a 1999 Acura in the area of Ponus Ridge Road and Woodway Ridge Lane with a passenger in the vehicle when he lost control and struck a rock, deploying both airbags.

Socci was transported to Stamford Hospital for his injuries, though his passenger was uninjured. He faces charges of failure to drive right.
