Another stopped school bus is passed on Old Stamford Road.

New Canaan police have fined an 18-year-old New Canaan resident $460 for passing a stopped school bus, according to Capt. Leon Krolikowski.

The infraction was issued to Kendall Schlim on April 6, following an investigation, Krolikowski said. According to police, the violation occurred on April 4 on Old Stamford Road. The school bus driver reported the incident, which resulted in the investigation.

This is the fifth ticket issued to a driver for since January. Krolikowski said local law enforcement officers have "zero tolerance" for these violations.
