Stamford Police have identified the 8-year-old boy who died after falling from a sixth floor apartment window on Saturday as Alexander Wu.

Lt. Diedrich Hohn of the Stamford Police Department said the Bureau of Criminal Investigations would be handling the case.

At approximately 7:30 p.m., Saturday, police responded to a report that a child had fallen from the sixth floor at the Rippowam Manor apartment complex at 11 W.
