Equipment Bag Defilers May Have Been Caught on Video

Darien Police said it wasn't "current" DHS students who committed the heinous act of urinating on a Rams football equipment bag during the Turkey Bowl — but DHS alumni may have been involved...

It wasn't current DHS students who urinated on an equipment bag during last Thursday's Turkey Bowl game between rivalries New Canaan Rams and the Darien High School Blue Wave football team, Darien Police have said.

But it may have been DHS alumni, according to a thread on sports reporter Dave Ruden's (DaveRuden) Twitter feed.

"..urinated on during second half. Involved NO current Darien players but school alumni. 5 people caught on tape..." Ruden wrote at 9:22 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 26th.

According to a report in the Stamford Advocate, school authorities have turned over to police video surveillance recordings showing people going in and out of the locker rooms when the incident took place.

Darien Police are reportedly investigating the incident.

In a report in The Darien Times, DHS Athletic Director Mike Sullivan called the act "despicable," while Schools Superintendent Steve Falcone called it "unfortunate."
