Fire Log: Eventful Friday, Uneventful Weekend

Tuesday's storm netted a pole fire and an accident.

After finding an unpleasant surprise in the ceiling (you'll have to ask the firefighters what it was) while dealing with a broken toilet pipe on the morning of Friday, Feb. 12, and stopping up a significant gas leak at the Avalon Apartments that afternoon, the Fire Department didn't receive any more calls for help until after the President's Day holiday.
