House Guests Suspected in New Canaan Laptop Theft

Police say they're investigating the apparent theft of a $3,000 Macbook from a Carter Street home.

 

A 22-year-old Carter Street man at 12:18 p.m. on Jan. 24 reported to police that his Macbook Air laptop had been stolen from his home.

According to Sgt. Carol Ogrinc of the New Canaan Police Department, the laptop is worth $3,000.

"He had some friends over the night before, so he suspects one of those people may have taken it," Ogrinc said.

The case is under investigation.
