Laptop Stolen from Unlocked Car on Elm Street
Attempted burglary discovered on West Road
Police are investigating an attempted burglary on West Road that triggered a home alarm the night of July 1, police said.
Officers arrived at the West Road home near Turtle Back Road at around 10 p.m. after the alarm was triggered and discovered a broken window with glass ont eh ground, said Sgt. Carol Ogrinc.
While the intruders appeared to manage to enter the home, nothing was taken, said Ogrinc.

Police are investigating the theft of a laptop computer from the front seat of an unlocked vehicle, police said.
At around 1:58 p.m. on June 27, a 58-year-old Wilton resident reported to police that a Fujitsu lite book laptop worth approximately $800 was stolen from the front seat of his unlocked vehicle, which was parked at the Food Emporium on Elm Street, said Ogrinc.
