A resident of Weed Street reported on Dec. 19 that a MacBook computer worth about $2,000 plus a carrying case worth about $200 had been stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in his driveway sometime during the previous evening.
The resident reported that he parked the car in his driveway at about 10 p.m. on Dec. 18 but when he awoke the items were missing from the car. Police said there were no signs of forced entry and it was unclear whether the vehicle had been locked.
The resident told police that although he had been to several other places with the laptop in the car earlier in the day, he was certain it was still in the car when he arrived home that evening.
