A Fairfield man who’s accused of breaking into cars in New Canaan on three separate days in September 2009 was turned over to police custody after he was picked up on unrelated charges in Fairfield on Friday, Oct. 19.
Frank Keller, 40, of Fairfield was charged with three counts of burglary in the third degree, two counts of larceny in the sixth degree and one count of larceny in the fifth degree after he allegedly broke into three vehicles on Sept. 2, Sept. 9 and Sept. 10 in 2009.
He posted $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 29.

Jose Catalan, 23, of Stamford turned himself in to police custody after learning there was a warrant for his arrest on Oct. 21 at 11:32 p.m. Catalan is charged with failure to appear in the second degree.
According to police, Catalan was originally charged with driving without a license and passing on the right in April 2009. He didn’t show up in court to answer those charges.
Catalan posted $3,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 2.

On Oct. 21, a 52-year-old Middle Ridge Road resident reported to police a car had driven over his lawn overnight. Police said about $200 worth of damage was done.
