Police responded to a family dispute on August 4 and arrested a man for violating a protective order, police said.
Jason Kempf, 35, called his wife’s cell phone several times and sent her several text messages in a short span of time, which would be considered harassment and a violation of a protective order, said Ogrinc.
Kempf was located at a Forest Street residence by New Canaan police and arrested the same day, police said.
Kempf was charged with violating a protective order with a bond set at $5,000 and was scheduled to appear in court on August 6, police said.
