A 61-year-old man turned himself in to police after learning there was a warrant for his arrest for violating a protective order.
The man, who lives on North Wilton Road, allegedly sent his estranged wife harassing text messages after being ordered by the court to cease contact with her.
The incident occurred on Sept. 30, and the man turned himself in on Oct. 4.
He was held on $5,000 bond and given an Oct. 5 court date.
